Our DMC Nordic Estonia team had Honor to arrange Evening for 600 Onward guests in Opera to listen to and so offer unique choir performance experience at a very beautiful and special place.
The whole Opera house was exclusively booked for this event.
The National Male Choir of Estonia is the biggest known professional male choir performing worldwide and a source of proudness for Estonians.
The guests were welcomed to the Opera with local Estonian Rhubarb sparkling - something special to introduce Estonian tastes.

Our teams from Norway and Denmark joined forces to create an unforgettable program in Bergen for one of the most prestigious global leadership communities.

This event was organized to honour the outgoing chairman and to provide an opportunity for members, who live across the globe, to spend quality time together.

Over an incredible five days, attendees enjoyed creative and tailormade activities and were able to join some unforgettable dining experiences. During all days separate programs were offered for board members and their families, allowing them to choose their own adventures. DMC Nordic arranged full buyouts of all venues, ensuring exclusive enjoyment of a variety of live performances, including bands, DJs, pianists, violinists, and traditional Norwegian folk dancers. Guests even enjoyed their own private food festival at a local farm!

Some of event’s highlights were: encountering a live Norwegian Troll during a mountain hike and hearing the enchanting song of the Huldra, a seductive forest creature, in the woods.

What an experience it was! All guests left with big smiles and countless unforgettable Scandinavian memories leaving amazing feedback to our DMC Nordic team!

We are thrilled to announce the establishment of the Nordic Guide Academy in Copenhagen, a new venture by DMC Nordic. This exciting development is a result of a collaborative effort with prominent figures in the tourism industry, most notably Charlotte Emmery, who has been appointed to lead this initiative.

Charlotte Emmery brings plenty of experience and expertise to the Nordic Guide Academy. As a trained tourist guide from Roskilde University (RUC) and an external lecturer who has taught this course for 18 years, her profound knowledge and dedication to the field make her the ideal leader for this project.

The Nordic Guide Academy is set to commence its training program on the 3rd of September, 2024. We are confident that this comprehensive program will equip future guides with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide exceptional experiences for visitors. Our goal is to have a new group of trained guides ready to showcase the beauty and culture of Copenhagen to international guests by May 2025.

This initiative marks a significant step forward in our commitment to excellence in tourism, and we eagerly anticipate the positive impact it will have on the visitor experience in Copenhagen.

Stockholm is often referred to as the “Venice of the North” due to its unique location spread across 14 islands and connected by 57 bridges. This distinctive geography offers stunning waterfront views and abundant opportunities for boat tours and water-based activities, which we love to arrange for our clients.

Recently, our Swedish team had the chance to showcase the very best of Stockholm to a group of potential clients from Preferred Hotels & Resorts and Nordic Hotels & Resorts. During this trip, the clients enjoyed speedboat sailing in the Stockholm archipelago, visited the ABBA Museum, and explored some of the city’s top venues and attractions.

Our DMC Nordic Norway team had the absolute pleasure of handling all ground operations for one of our cruise clients, Seabourn Cruises, during their stops in Kristiansand on May 22nd and Oslo on May 23rd.

In Kristiansand, our guests had the distinct honor of being among the first groups to visit the newly opened Kunstsilo museum. Kunstsilo, an art and culture center situated on Odderøya in Kristiansand, officially opened its doors on May 11, 2024. The museum is housed in a repurposed grain silo, with its unique circular shapes preserved as a nod to its industrial past. Kunstsilo aspires to become the premier modernist art museum in the Nordic region, showcasing notable collections from Sørlandets Kunstmuseum, Christianssands Billedgalleri, and Nicolai Tangen’s private collection.

In Oslo, the Seabourn ship docked conveniently next to the iconic Opera House, allowing our guests to experience the vibrant summer atmosphere of Norway’s capital. It was incredibly heartwarming to witness the joy and excitement on the faces of our cruise guests as they returned to the ship, their smiles reflecting the unforgettable experiences they had enjoyed throughout the day.

On May 17th, Norwegians commemorate the signing of the constitution in 1814. In Norway, Constitution Day is a significant event celebrated nationwide. Unlike many countries that mark their national day with military parades, Norway’s May 17th is a festive occasion for everyone, particularly children. Before joining the parades and celebrations, many gather for a large breakfast, often a potluck with friends, family, and neighbours. This meal typically includes freshly baked bread, scrambled eggs, smoked salmon, and, for the adults, some bubbly.

IMEX Frankfurt 2024 was beyond all our expectations!

Our DMC Nordic team had 105 prescheduled Meetings plus approx. 40 “walk-ins” during three days of IMEX. We were thrilled to connect with so many potential clients and return to our destinations with numerous new proposal requests. It was incredibly energizing to showcase our incredible destinations and witness clients’ excitement as they discovered our creative solutions in the Scandinavian region.

Glassblowing, an enchanting and age-old craft, has held humanity in its spell for centuries. Since the dawn of civilization, the mesmerizing dance of shaping molten glass with a blowpipe has captivated hearts and minds, leaving an indelible mark on our cultural tapestry.

Recently our DMC Nordic Sweden team, had the pleasure of introducing client from Finland to the magic of glassblowing during their site inspection in Stockholm. As we stepped into artist’s studio, they were greeted by the warm glow of furnaces and the gentle hum of creativity in the air. Under the expert guidance of creative artisans, our guests embarked on a journey of discovery, transforming molten glass into stunning works of art with every twist and turn of the blowpipe. Laughter and excitement filled the room as each piece took shape, a testament to the joy of creation and the power of shared experience.

The resounding success of this enchanting activity left an indelible impression on our clients, who eagerly embraced it as a highlight for their future gatherings in Stockholm. In the Royal Copenhagen Flagship Store in the heart of Copenhagen you can get up close to the porcelain factory just us our DMC Nordic Denmark team had an opportunity to become a true porcelain painter for a day!

With guidance from one of Royal Copenhagen’s skilled blue painters, you get the brush in your hand and can choose to paint selected pieces of porcelain in Blue Mega Rifled or Blue Elements. Everyone in a team is taught how to paint the same piece of porcelain, and in our activity calendar you can get an overview of what you can paint in which teams. This is also where you can register. There is a limited number of places on each team, which ensures that everyone can get the best guidance.

Now everyone is waiting for their porcelain plate to be ready for collection in the store after 4-6 weeks. Thank you for organizing this amazing event for our team ❤️🙏

The DMC Nordic Norway team spent three unforgettable days basking in the radiant sunshine along Norway’s scenic south coast, delving into the charm of Kristiansand, Arendal, Lillesand, and Grimstad. Each town revealed its own unique treasures, beckoning us to embark on thrilling adventures and uncover hidden gems.

On April 22nd, we celebrate International Earth Day and this significant day engages around one billion people worldwide in activities that address the climate crisis and encourage behavioural change to preserve the environment

At DMC Nordic, our commitment to sustainability drives us to play a pivotal role in nurturing a more compassionate world. This year, our DMC Nordic Denmark team celebrated Earth Day by actively participating in inauguration of Greve Folkeskov, This event was a collaborative effort involving The Nature Agency, Greve Municipality, HOFOR, and generous tree donations, as well as two years of establishment care provided by companies and private individuals through the afforestation NGO, Growing Trees Network.

The event commenced with inspiring speeches from various partners, accompanied by a heartfelt forest song. Following this, everyone had the opportunity to personally plant trees and adorn planting sticks, each proudly displaying personal or company name, to mark their contribution.

Stockholm is the place where Waterloo was born and ABBA seemed. ABBA’s significance for the city and Swedish the musical wonder is enormous. ABBA took Swedish music out
in the world, has inspired countless musicians for decades, and they are still a tourist magnet with a museum at Djurgården.

The music city of Stockholm attracts talent from all over the world and here you will find an impressive selection of live music and festivals as well as a strong infrastructure to provide new abilities opportunities to create tomorrow’s hits. Now Swedes want to thank ABBA for what they have meant to Sweden, Stockholm and not least for everyone affected by theirs tones. During our DMC Nordic Norway Bergen team’s site inspection trip to Bekkjarvik, a village just a short two-hour boat ride from Bergen, they had the opportunity to stay at the newly constructed Beckerwyc House hotel which is a new gem of boutique hotels, offering a blend of modern elegance and maritime charm, boasting 20 refined rooms designed to enchant.

The whole experience was elevated further with an extraordinary dining experience at the renowned Mirabelle Restaurant.
Led by the talented and award-winning Norwegian chef Ørjan Johannessen, winner of the prestigious Bocuse d'Or 2015, Mirabelle Restaurant provided us with an unforgettable culinary journey.
Johannessen and his team of skilled chefs curated a remarkable 13-course dinner.

They enjoyed a week filled with inspiring meetings at Villa Hotel, custom-made sailing outing scattered by delectable food stops, intimate dinner gatherings boasting the finest vistas our city has to offer; as well as captivating evening adventures and an unforgettable party hosted at one of Copenhagen’s trendiest cocktail bars.

Leaving Copenhagen, our team was praised for efficiency, expertise, and unwavering guidance, which illuminated every aspect of this journey, culminating in a truly successful event in our beloved Wonderful Copenhagen.

Easter is just around the corner therefor our DMC Nordic Denmark team decided to spend few creative hours together while blowing and painting eggs for Easter decoration.
Easter wouldn’t be Easter without eggs! Easter eggs come in all varieties – to eat and to decorate.
Blowing chicken’s eggs and painting them in pastel colours makes for a rewarding, creative pastime and this is how to do it:

Pierce the top and bottom of the egg with a needle.
The holes need to be just larger than the diameter of a matchstick.
Blow or shake out the contents of the egg.
Rinse the egg inside and out with soapy water.
Let it dry with a hole pointing down to let the water drain.
Once the egg is dry, you can decorate it with felt pens, paint, glitter and small feathers.
Tie a piece of thread tightly round a cut-down matchstick. Insert the matchstick into the hole in the egg and hang the egg up.

Tallinn is the proud host and organizer of the Tall Ships Races sailboat regatta in 2024.

This magnificent maritime extravaganza will grace Lennusadam (Seaplane Harbour), Noblessneri Harbor, and Old City Harbor from July 11th to July 14th, offering a wealth of activities and adventures both ashore and afloat.
Tall Ships Races is Europe’s largest and oldest sail training ship regatta, bringing nearly 60 large sailing ships to Tallinn’s three harbors. These vessels play host to up to 3,000 aspiring sailors from 30 to 40 different countries. At the heart of this regatta lies the noble aim of providing young people with the opportunity to embrace the challenges of the sea, acquire sailing expertise, and foster lifelong friendships.

Visitors are invited to explore the tall ships nestled in Tallinn’s harbors, with opportunities to partake in onboard events.
Moreover, the harbors will be alive with stirring music, tantalizing cuisine, and an array of festival activities. If you need some local expertise in creating unforgettable visit just give us a buzz!

In an unexpected turn of events, our Tromsø team faced a surprise turnaround operation with one of our major cruise clients, and the Bergen team swiftly came to their rescue.
Everyone’s dedication and hard work proved crucial in overcoming challenges. As a well-deserved reward, the Bergen team enjoyed the mesmerizing Northern Lights, a celestial celebration of teamwork and resilience.
This unexpected challenge showcased professional competence, fostering lasting memories and camaraderie between our Tromsø and Bergen teams.
The Northern Lights served as a radiant curtain call, highlighting the beauty that emerges from overcoming challenges together.

Vasaloppet is a legendary cross-country ski race held annually in Sweden. It traces its origins back to 1922 when the first race was organized in honor of the Swedish king, Gustav Vasa, who escaped from Danish troops on skis in 1521. The race follows a 90km trail through the picturesque landscape of Dalarna, attracting thousands of skiers from around the world. Over the years, it has grown into one of the most prestigious and challenging ski events globally, embodying the rich tradition of Nordic skiing and celebrating the enduring spirit of adventure and athleticism.

The Nobel Week Lights festival is once again taking place on the streets of Stockholm during this year’s Nobel Week. With inspiration from Nobel Prize-winning initiatives and individuals, fantastic lighting installations were created that light up in the December darkness. This year’s artists and lighting designers explore some of science’s greatest discoveries and create fantastic installations. With the help of unique ideas and technical skill, works are created that inspire, attract reflection, and provide new perspectives on the city and the urban environment.
