After a 16 year long hiatus, the iconic ice skating ring at Kongens Nytorv has returned 🥳
The ice skating ring will be open until the 30th of December and you can rent ice skates if you haven't got your own.
From Friday to Sunday, the Christmas market surrounding the ring will be opened and serve all manner of local, Christmas goods 🎄🍪🎁

Skate into the weekend like ⛸️❄️
The winter vibes are strong this year at Reffen - Reffen - Skøjteøen ☃️
As a new initiative this winter, they have transformed most of our outdoor area into a beautiful ice-skating wonderland!
There are two ice rinks covering a total of 1450 square metres, one of which is dedicated to the little ones, so they can glide safely on the ice 🤍❄️ Expect light shows once the sun set while bars and street food stalls will offer hot treats and creative artisans sell their handmade treasures.
In November the ice rinks are open from Thursday to Sunday, while they will be open every day from December to February 2nd.

The return of a classic 🪑
The new permanent exhibition 'Danish Modern' at Designmuseum Danmark unfolds the story of Danish design from the 1920s to the 1970s, focusing on the creation of some of the most iconic Danish design objects.
This also means the return of the iconic 'chair tunnel' that unfolds like a family tree of chair relationships and includes chairs from both Danish and international designers like Hans J. Wegner, Arne Jacobsen, Nanna Ditzel, Cecilie Manz, Charles Eames, Marcel Breuer, and Jasper Morrison ✍💡

The highest tower in Copenhagen 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
At 106 metres, the Christiansborg Palace Tower is Copenhagen’s highest. The tower was erected as part of the third and current Christiansborg Palace, built in 1907-1928 and designed by the architect Thorvald Jørgensen.
Initially, the plan was to add three crowns to the tower's spire, but due to different problems during construction, like overspending the budget, the spire only had one crown. The last two were added in 1934 👑
