The highest tower in Copenhagen 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰
At 106 metres, the Christiansborg Palace Tower is Copenhagen’s highest. The tower was erected as part of the third and current Christiansborg Palace, built in 1907-1928 and designed by the architect Thorvald Jørgensen.
Initially, the plan was to add three crowns to the tower's spire, but due to different problems during construction, like overspending the budget, the spire only had one crown. The last two were added in 1934 👑

New rooftop alert! 🚨
The Cinema Rooftop has finally opened in the heart of Copenhagen, located on the roof of Cinemateket right next to the King's Garden and Rosenborg 📍🏰
It is entirely free to access the rooftop during opening hours - every day from 10-22 - and there is an exhibition detailing different periods from Danish film history that you can dive deeper into 🤓🎞️
You can also visit the 'Sky Cinema', the only permanent open-air cinema in Copenhagen 🎥 It seats 127 people and usually shows two films every day—one in the afternoon and one in the evening 🌙 You will need to book tickets in advance to get a seat.
There is also a playground for the kids and a bar and eatery if you're feeling peckish during your stay 🤤

The giant, wooden snail by the waterfront 🐌
Sneglen is the nickname of Kastrup Sea Bath, and it's quite an architectural gem hidden close to Amager Beach Park.
Shaped like a conch shell taken from the bottom of the sea, it offers bathers both peace and shelter for their swim 🐚 The facilities are free to use all year round.
There are also two diving boards for the anyone who dare to take a plunge from the heights 💦
