JIPI Empanadas A new sustainable way of eating Argentinian food in the streets of Copenhagen. The bike has been named Eco-Bike-Food. The main product is going to be Empanadas.

I believe there is a bright future for the street gastronomy, so I have been developing a self-dependant ecological bike that uses green energy, reducing, therefore, the dependence on fossil fuels for transportation and cooking. It is typical Argentinian cuisine. There are other countries that have a similar type of plate, in Great Britain it is known as Cornish Pasties and in Spain as Empanadilla

. It is possible to spot around the world a similar concept to the Empanadas, a circular dough, filled with a variety of ingredients, the mix is for you to imagine or produce, the only limitation is your creativity. JIPI EMPANADAS will bring a suggestive offer providing Affordable, Sustainable and Creative products for the people, its flexibility is an opportunity for the end consumers and the city; the Eco-Bike-Food will give an environmental friendly example of that connection. We believe that food is meant to be enjoyed as a cultural event, not just as means to survival. With more than nine years of experience cooking around Europe in different parts of world, Chef German Baldi wants to delight the streets in his Eco-Bike-Food, spreading his passion about Empanadas (Cornish Pasties), which are part of his Argentinian Culture, with one clear objective: To be an example of management and sustainability, bringing the concept of “Mad på Økohjul”.
