Hey, cycling enthusiasts! 🚴‍♂️ The Tour de France is back and it’s hotter than ever! Kicking off on June 29th and racing through until July 21st, 2024, here are some fun facts about the world's greatest cycling race happening right now! 🌍🚴‍♀️

1. Snack Attack! 🍌🍫
Cyclists burn an insane amount of calories – about 6,000 a day! That's like eating 24 cheeseburgers or 66
Bananas!

2. Speed Demons! 🚀💨
These riders go FAST! The highest recorded speed during the Tour is 126 km/h (78 mph) – basically a human rocket on two wheels. Just imagine your morning commute at that pace. 🏎️💥

3. Sleepy Heads! 🛌💤
Each night, riders sleep in different locations. Forget luxury hotels – it's all about quick rest and recovery!

4. The Longest Route! 🛤️
The Tour de France is no quick ride. The longest ever route was in 1926, stretching 5,745 km (3,570 miles). That’s like cycling from Paris to Beijing! 😲🌏

The first Tour de France was in 1903. Back then, roads were unpaved, and riders had to fix their bikes themselves! 💪🔧
