This lovely property is well located in the beautiful area between Viborg and Silkeborg. The house is ideal for the large family who would like to spend time together. The house is furnished with 6 bedrooms in good size and cozy living rooms, one of which has a fireplace and another has a wood burning stove. In the pool room you can play in a nice pool of good size. The house has a pool table and table football. In addition, you can play table tennis in a former stable building. The area offers a rich wildlife and in early mornings, it is not unusual to see a deer close by. Stendalgaards Plantage nearby is a large forest area that invites to walking and running. As a neighbor you have the beautiful visitor garden 'Søndergaards Have', which is visited by thousands every year. The property is central for visits to the cities of Viborg, Silkeborg and Herning. In Silkeborg you can sail with "Hjejlen” the world's oldest original stemwheel boat. Viborg is the old capital of Jutland with a historic atmosphere and cobbled streets with beautiful houses from the 16th century. Here is a rich cultural and commercial life with shops, eateries and museums. The cathedral in Viborg is a “must” visit, even if you are not the church going type. The Skovgaard wall murals are amazing!. Take a guided city walk or ride the 'Viborg train' around the old streets. Herning is home to Ingvar Cronhammar's impressive sculpture 'Elia', from which there is a stunning view of the forest and moors, pierced by small and large streams just made for canoeing. Herning has several other museums and art collections. For the young in the family, it is recommended to visit 'Hoppeloppeland' - one of Denmark's largest indoor play grounds. Around Silkeborg you will find some of Denmark's most beautiful scenery with wooded backdrops, 50 larger and smaller lakes and “Gudenåen”, Denmark's only “river”. Silkeborg offers excellent shopping plus Silkeborg Art Museum with Asger Jorn Collections and Silkeborg Museum with the approx. 2200 year old 'Tollundmand'. There are several other attractions in the area, such as the Blicheregnens Museum in Thorning, Mønsted limestone caves, Hald Hovedgård and Dollerup Bakker. Just an hour's drive away is the town of Billund with well-known tourist attractions such as LEGOLAND, Givskud Zoo and the AQUA freshwater center.
