Arsenalet is an office community founded in 2012 and is located in Viborg, Denmark. The building houses companies who work within the visual industry. Some of the companies at Arsenalet have at this point been involved in major international co-productions such as the Oscar nominated feature film Song of the sea. The building is facilitated by Arsenalet HQ, a

team of capable individuals who work tirelessly to make Arsenalet one of the most successful creative growth environments in Europe. To make this happen, HQ offers a number of services, both for people outside and inside Arsenalet. For the residents in Arsenalet, HQ offers services such as business development, office space, assistance to marketing, incubation, knowledge sharing, social events and more. To people outside Arsenalet, HQ offers services such as matchmaking, guided tours, conferences, events, workshops, consultation and more.

The Viborg UNESCO Creative City Artist Residency Program hosted by PLASTIC Collective in collaboration with The Animation Workshop – VIA University College (TAW) invites artists to develop prototypes for digital art projects for publicly accessible spaces in Viborg.

The residency includes accommodation, financial backing, travel assistance, consulting, dedicated workstation, and the potential support of VFX artists.

KALDER ALLE KUNSTNERE I VIBORG

Viborgs UNESCO Creative City partnere i Karlsruhe Unesco Creative City inviterer kunstnere til at indsende forslag til byens store visuelle højdepunkt Karlsruhe SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE. Siden det startede i 2015, har ca. 2 mio. mennesker set slots-showet.

Hver aften i fire uger i august og september fungerer den 170 meter lange facade på Karlsruhes barokslot som en stor skærm.

I 2024 er emnet ”Jura og demokrati”, da Karlsruhe er hjemsted for Tysklands forfatningsdomstol, og man i 2024 fejrer Forbundsrepublikkens 75 år.

Den internationale konkurrence afholdes for fjerde gang og er åben for kunstnere i alle aldre og lande. Hovedpræmien er 10.000 Euro samt et tilskud til at producere det vindende kunstværk. Præmierne til anden- og tredjepladsen er 5.000 Euro og 2.000 Euro.
