Did you know? On the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, whale-watching season is mid-January to mid-March. At this time, the whales migrate to Samana to mate in one of the largest whale sanctuaries in the world. Every year, between 3000 and 5000 whales make the trek from the Arctic waters to the Caribbean!
