•Do you know how many different ways you can eat plantains? A lot! Plantains are a versatile vegetable used in many Dominican dishes. Our favorite way to serve plantains is mangu! Mangú is a Dominican traditional dish made up by mashing the plantains with butter, margarine or oil in the water in which they were boiled. The dish is topped with sautéed red onions that have been cooked with vinegar. So simple and so delicious! Villa Costa Norte grows several plantains plants, so you’re guaranteed the freshest produce on the island!
