Calle Las Damas, Zona Colonial. Fue la primera trazada en Las Américas, año 1502. Segun la historia, varias doncellas que acompañaban a Maria de Toledo, esposa de Diego Colon se paseaban por ella todos los dias. De ahi viene el nombre actual.

This incredible bridge is located in San Pedro de Macoris. One hour from Santo Domingo. It was built in 2007. Underneath it is the Higuamo River, one of the most important of the Dominican Republic.

Miseo de Las Casas Reales. Este lugar fue el primer Palacio de Gobierno de Las Americas. Construido por orden de Diego Colon en el 1512. Fui usado hasta el 1947 cuando Trujillo construyó el actual Palacio Presidencial. Fue restaurado en 1973 y abierto como museo en 1976 con la visita de los reyes de España, Carlos y Sofia.

This is a court where cocoa is dried for 10 to 15 days. The color of a cocoa bean is white when it comes out of the pod, After a couple of days the color starts to change, getting this brownish color. After here it is roasted for about one hour.

A day like today back to 1691 the Virgin of High Grace was seen for the first time in an orange tree that was planted where this beautiful church is nowadays. Everybody believed it was a miracle and the tree was cut and the crunch was built from 1567 to 1572.

These are the ruins of the oldest hospital in the New World. The Hospital of San Nicolas de Baris. It was built in 1503 by the Town Planer Nicolas de Ovando who was the 3rd governor of Hispaniola Island.
