Last week, Thales Alenia Space hosted Gateway teams from NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration, ESA - European Space Agency, and Northrop Grumman Corporation to discuss the technical integration of the HALO Lunar Communication System (HLCS) onto Gateway’s Habitation and Logistics Outpost (HALO) module.

The HLCS, provided by ESA - European Space Agency, will provide multiple paths of communication between expeditions on the lunar surface and Gateway, and serve as a communications relay to Earth including live HD video streaming.

بواسطة جيمس ويب وعلى بعد 100000 الى 50000 سنة ضوئية من الارض .

في صورة ويب لـ Stephan’s Quintet ، نرى 5 مجرات، 4 منها تتفاعل. (المجرة اليسرى هي في الواقع أقرب بكثير إلينا من بقية المجموعة!) هذه المجرات المتصادمة تسحب وتمدد بعضها البعض في رقصة الجاذبية. سيحدث Webb ثورة في معرفتنا بتكوين النجوم وتفاعلات الغاز.
هذه الفسيفساء هي أكبر صورة ويب حتى الآن، وتغطي مساحة من السماء 1/5 من قطر القمر (كما يُرى من الأرض). يحتوي على أكثر من 150 مليون بكسل ويتم إنشاؤه من حوالي 1000 ملف صورة.
