Presentation and History of the Agency :
TIMGAD Voyages was founded in 1981 in Timgad by Mr. MENACEUR Cherif, the general manager.
• 1981-1982 : Settling in Timgad. The agency was offering ticket services, tour of Timgad, visit of Timgad's tourist sites.
• 1982-1994 : Settling in the district of Wilaya (department) of Batna which is the 4th city in Algeria (according to the last population census)

. Since then, the agency has specialized in department tourism of countries of the European Community such as France, Germany, Spain, Benelux, UK, USA (English-speaking countries) + Russia, India, China, Korea ...
• 1994-1998 : Because of a security problem that Algeria has been through at that time (terrorism) the tourism sector has known a crash and our activity has been through a decline.
• 1998-today : The situation has become better and better. The agency realizes a galloping increase (positive) of groups visiting our country and more importantly foreign countries. We assure our tourists all the security warranties.
• From 2006 : The demand has grown 20%. The Agency nowdays :
Accepted IATA and member of UFTAA-FUAAV, Timgad Viyages represent the companies: Algeria air, Eagle Azure, Air France, TunisAir, SyrianAir, ENMTV/SNCM etc... We have our own servicing and we organize of journeys in Turkey to the departure of the airport Mostefa Benboulaid (Batna) toward Istanbul since March 24, 2001. We are partner with several Tours foreign Operatorses in France, Spain, China, Dubai, Syria, Tunisia, South Africa... We also organize the lounges and fairs in Europe for the societies, enterprises and Algerian professionals. Perspectives :
We set like perspectives the development of the Tourism in Algeria. With the large collaboration of our foreign Partners, we are anxious to throw several new products as the Scuba diving, the Tourist Hunt, the Tour of Algeria by Motorcycle and in Bicycle as well as the Tourism of health and the planning of 3 bedouin Hotels in full Algerian desert. Manpower :
Our staff is multidisciplinary. It is composed of engineers, bachelors and technicians. Our strength is formed besides in the domain of the tourism and the commercial domain its experience. Suggestions to our customers :
Best is to know the deep Algeria as leaving from Algiers, of a city to another, the customs and the traditions changes as well as the landscape. It is for it that one says marvelous Algeria. (Pronounced always by late Ammi Idir of Soumam-Tours Béjaïa). We encourage you to start your visit with the beautiful city of Algiers and his/her/its Casbah.
