Biotropica Expeditions, a tour operator specialized in natural history and birdwatching expeditions with over 30 years of experience in South America’s wilderness, co-founder and creator of other sustainable community based nature tourism projects like Napo Wildlife Center launched in Cuenca an event to showcase this fantastic biodiverse destination. We are Ecuador Birdfair – Nature for All!
In September 13th through 16th of 2018, public attended a selection of lectures, natural history and birding excursions, nature art exhibits, pre and post event birding and nature tours, as well as visited the charming center of old Cuenca filled with welcoming retreats. We shared and learned about Ecuador’s overwhelming biodiversity, its birdlife, orchids, butterflies, the high Andean ecosystems, the foothill cloud forests and lowland tropical rain forests, created great experiences and stronger alliances for best management, conservation and sustainability of our natural resources.
