| "My family (three twenty-something boys & my wife and I) took a five-night tour of the southeastern islands. Fantastic experience! The ship was in great shape, very clean and spacious. Because the ship holds so few passengers we got to know everyone so well - they became our extended family. The crew was plentiful and very attentive. Best of all, our guide, Carlos, was engaging, informative, and friendly. We were busy (a good busy) every day with snorkel adventures and island hiking adventures. Of course, the stars of the show were the animals - they had no fear of humans so we were able to walk among them without their scattering. I highly recommend the Alya for a Galapagos vacation."
