Española reopens for birdwatching and hiking tours starting May 11th, 2024! The Galápagos National Park had closed all land visits for nearly 8 months as a preventative measure when Avian Flu was detected on other islands. After careful observation and testing, the fragile and endemic populations of Waved Albatross are deemed safe and healthy. Our yacht operates this fantastic site as a day tour from San Cristobal Island- a magnificent hike among marine iguanas, Nazca B***y and Waved Albatross nesting sites, Galapagos doves and Española mockingbirds can also be observed.
