It’s truly exiting to witness how Ecuador continues to unveil unique conservation areas that allow us to encounter incredible species up close—like this stunning Gray and Gold Tanager.
One of the most rewarding parts is that these new reserves also protect one of the most biodiverse forests in the world—the Chocó Andino. Sachaguatusa, where I took this shot, is a perfect example of how conservation efforts are giving us the chance to admire these unique creatures while safeguarding their habitat.
