There are so many photo opportunities in San Cristobal island! Check out our last wildlife photo session this past Friday with one of our guests during a photo tour in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno, without leaving the town: blue footed bo***es, sea lions and sally light foot crabs. So much fun!

One of the nicest things about living in the Galapagos, is the opportunity to meet people with amazing stories and from all around the world. These last weeks we have welcomed wonderful guests, from landscape architects to food entrepreneurs, nurses and teachers! Today we had a special visitor in Playa Mann, early in the morning we spotted a sea turtle trying to nest at our nearby beach. Just a few steps from Casa Playa Mann!! Maybe she did not lay her eggs because it was too late and already getting sunny. The Galapagos Marine Reserve is an important nesting area for the Pacific green sea turtle and we must keep our beaches clean and protected so these wonderful animals can keep nesting safely.

Hoy fuimos testigos de una visita muy importante en Playa Mann, una tortuga marina que llegaba a la playa a intentar anidar. Quizás no lo hizo porque ya había amanecido y era muy tarde para ella. La Reserva Marina de Galápagos es uno de los sitios más importantes de anidación de las tortugas marinas, por esto y muchas otras razones debemos mantener nuestras playas limpias y protegidas.
