😶‍🌫️ An oasis in the dense capital of , with historical mysteries.

is a collection of buildings in Old City, . We saw several couples sheltering under the trees and families enjoying the space it offers, but this place has much more to offer.

The story goes that during the height of the Mughal Empire, in 1677, Prince Muhammad Azam commissioned the construction of Lalbagh Fort, but the project was never completed. Shortly after construction began, Prince Muhammad Azam left Dhaka to join his father, Emperor Aurangzeb, in Delhi.

He passed the job of completing the fort to Shaista Khan, who continued to build it until his beloved daughter Pari Bibi died there in 1684. Shaista Khan, believing the fort to be cursed, immediately stopped construction and it remains in its unfinished state today.

Three major sections of the fort are complete: the Pari Bibi Mausoleum, Diwan-i-Aam (the Audience Hall) and the Keel Mosque.

An intricate network of underground tunnels beneath Lalbagh Fort has also been completed. In one episode of the Sepoy Revolution in 1857, soldiers from both sides are said to have ventured into the tunnels and never resurfaced, adding to the mystery and intrigue surrounding the fort. To this day, rumours circulate that Lalbagh Fort is haunted.

How have I lived 20 years traveling? I'm not the backpacker who doesn't know where he will spend the night or the tourist who runs from country to country. For me, knowing a place is living in it, facing cultural shocks, learning its language, seeing its reality.

It's a life decision. I was born in a small village in Slovakia and since I was two years old I tried to climb the fence of my house to escape and explore the world. Today, at 43 years old, I have visited around 60 countries, I have lived in 5, in addition to Slovak I speak fluent Czech, English, Spanish and I'm learning French.

With that essence, I created 2112 Tours, an agency focused on adventure excursions and real tourism. It fills me with joy to see how a trip changes lives, because it changes thoughts and ways of seeing the world. Change your reality.

Now I'm in , a destination that has impressed me with its mountains and its people, and I want to share my experience with travelers open to exploring new worlds. Let's jump over the fence!

A tribute to impermanence. Nowadays in Nepal, during the celebrations, (a type of made of sand or coloured powder) is created outside hotels and shops. It is an ancient manifestation of popular folk art with geometric or animal figures that are created to honour the gods. Wind, rain, animals or pedestrians destroy this expression of art and devotion. This is part of the worldview of Hinduism and Buddhism, nothing remains, nothing is permanent.
