⚓️ This year, we took the Visit Estonia x Simple Session Mini Ramp Jam to the next level by hosting it on Estonia's largest river ferry, Emajõe Lodjaselts Koit, cruising along the scenic Emajõgi River across Tartu. As the ferry glided through the water, skaters delivered high-energy tricks on board, creating a unique experience for everyone involved. The action culminated with the ferry docking near the iconic Arch Bridge, where the main event unfolded in EPIC fashion.

SIMPLE SESSION 24 was an absolute blast! ✔️🎉 Returning to our hometown Visit Tartu after 20 years was nothing short of incredible! Five unforgettable days packed with non-stop action — street jams, barge jam ⚓️, the grand opening of the concrete park, epic parties, the fantastic Stoned Street video premiere, the dialled live streams 🎥, exciting video projects, and, of course, the main contests and activities at Kammivabriku sündmuskeskus. 🎉

As many of you know, our friend and much-respected BMX community member Alex Hiam 🇦🇺 had a bad fall in the SIMPLE SESSION 24 qualification round last Saturday. He fell at the start of his second run when starting to drop in. Alex is currently in the hospital under medical surveillance and needs time to recover.

To be able to be with Alex, his family started a GoFundMe campaign to cover travel and medical costs that might be needed. We wish Alex a smooth healing journey, are in liaison with the clinic and in touch with his family, and support them in any way we can. Get well soon, Alex - much love for a smooth and swift recovery. 💙🙏

The organizers decided to call off the BMX qualification round today after an athlete needed medical care. The competition will continue tomorrow with an updated schedule.

"The athletes competing are friends and a community, so when one rider has an accident, it affects everyone. After talking with the riders, we decided not to continue the competition today," said Simple Session organizer Risto Kalmre.

The skateboarding finals will happen as scheduled.
