In Estonia, we have a saying: "Naised saunas rääkisid," which translates to "Women in sauna talked." And it's more than just a phrase.. It captures exactly how sauna encourages genuine connection.

Outside the sauna, conversations might stay polite, short, or even superficial. But step into the gentle heat, surrounded by calming steam, and suddenly barriers fall away. You're relaxed, honest, and ready to share openly.

Beyond its many physical health perks - like better circulation, detoxification, and muscle recovery - sauna time significantly boosts our mental wellbeing. It encourages authentic conversations, strengthens bonds, and helps ease social anxieties and feelings of loneliness.

Midsummer is just around the corner! 🌿
In Estonia, that means bonfires, midnight sun… and of course, sauna!

One beloved Midsummer tradition is making your own sauna whisk, or viht, as we say in Estonian. And what better time to do it than now, when birch branches are fresh and fragrant? 🌳

Tomorrow is International Sauna Day, so we wanted to take a moment to share some beautiful saunas from around the world🔥

We might speak different languages, enjoy diverse cuisines, and view life through our unique lenses, but sauna is a universal language that unites us all. Whether your sauna is small or spacious, traditional or contemporary, every sauna is special. And every sauna lover knows it's the best place to unwind, recharge, and genuinely connect.

Recap 🔥

We're back from an incredible few days at the World Sauna Forum 2025 in Jyväskylä, Finland! What a refreshing and insightful experience it was!

A few highlights from our team:

🏠 Experiencing TEN different smoke saunas in one afternoon, including an epic two-story sauna. Definitely a memorable first!

🌍 Loved discovering different sauna cultures from Japan to Norway, proving once again that sauna truly belongs to everyone.

🤝 The warmth and openness of our industry friends (and even competitors) made this event particularly special.

🎤 Got so much great feedback about our presentation on Estonian sauna culture and our products. We're truly honored.

🙏 It was heartwarming that when people saw our logo or discovered we were from HUUM, they instantly opened up warmly. We're genuinely proud to bring Estonian sauna to the world, and seeing that recognition firsthand was a truly special moment

We're leaving with new ideas, stronger connections, and immense gratitude for this wonderful community.

CHALLENGE: 60 days of movement ✅

We've just wrapped up our two-month in-house wellness challenge at HUUM. Every team member committed to moving for at least 30 minutes each day, aiming to become healthier, stronger, and happier. The results speak for themselves:

🏃‍♀️ Four team members moved every single day for 60 days straight!
🔥 More than half of our participants stayed active for 50+ days (talk about dedication!)
🎯 Collectively, we boosted energy, built strength, walked millions of steps, and shed nearly 42 kg 🤯

Along the way, we captured some wonderful moments, from encountering wildlife and breathtaking scenery to creatively mapped exercise routes. Here are some favorite snapshots celebrating our shared journey.
