Last week, Latitude59 proved itself once again to be the best startup and tech event for innovators and entrepreneurs in Tallinn. Beyond the engaging talks and compelling startup pitches, this event was about creating unique, memorable experiences.
For the first time, attendees enjoyed the innovative addition of a sauna and cold plunge, bringing an exciting twist to the event. In partnership with Saunasell, we literally took the sauna experience to new heights by installing it on the second floor. This not only provided stunning views but also allowed everyone to fully enjoy the benefits of warming up and cooling down in a truly stylish setting.
It was also incredibly rewarding to witness a visitor from Australia discover the joys of sauna bathing for the first time - it’s safe to say he was instantly warmed up to the idea! 🤍

Due to constant contact with water and exposure to high temperatures (up to 800°C/1500°F!), stones can start to crumble over time, affecting your sauna heater’s performance.
It’s essential to check your sauna stones annually or after every 300 hours of heating. Look out for signs of wear, especially in stones closest to the heating elements. Don’t let worn-out stones push your sauna heater out of its prime. Keep your sauna in top condition for that perfect, relaxing heat.

The excitement is just kicking off as we look forward to the Week Regatta at Võrtsjärv starting this weekend, where the Meltemi sailors will champion our flags. This serves as a warm-up event for the highly anticipated Moonsund Regatta, the oldest sailing regatta in Estonia, drawing over 100 crews from various countries. During this event, yachtsmen embark on an exhilarating journey, visiting multiple ports in West-Estonia.
And the adventure doesn't stop there. Next week, we're rolling up our sleeves as the Meltemi team teaches us the ropes (and sails!) of this exhilarating sport. Not all of us at HUUM are sailors (yet!), but we're more than ready to dive in.

We posted a story yesterday about how the packages made it to Ukraine and we just wanted to share it with you again to give you proof that these packages really are arriving in Ukraine.
Also, we just wanted to say thank you to everyone who is contributing. We have some very good partners in Ukraine, and the situation is just heartbreaking. Even spreading the word helps them. Keep doing what you do!
We want to thank Eesti Üliõpilaste Selts who has been collecting all of these items and has been providing 24/7 access in Tartu just so people could support them. That is an amazing effort! Also, ACE Logistics Estonia has been transporting these all to Ukraine. Just amazing!!
Yesterday, a new van started its journey to Ukraine. It was sent out with more than ONE HUNDRED mobile phones, FORTY computers, FIFTY walkie-talkies, more than 6000 elastic bandages, 8500 hydrogen peroxide solutions, 18000 roller patches, etc. These were all donated by some really generous people!
It’s amazing to see how many kind people we have around of us! Thank you 🙏
