In a spiritual context, the Oracle Temple refers to a sacred space or place where individuals seek divine guidance and insight. The concept of an Oracle Temple has roots in ancient civilizations, where oracles served as channels between the mortal world and the divine realm. These oracles were believed to possess special abilities to receive messages, visions, or prophecies from deities or spirits.

Visiting an Oracle Temple was a way for individuals to seek answers to important questions, receive spiritual guidance, or gain insight into their lives or the future. The priests or priestesses who inhabited these temples would often enter a trance-like state or use specific rituals to connect with the divine and convey messages to those who sought their assistance.

In modern times, the concept of an Oracle Temple can still be found in various spiritual traditions. It can be a physical location where spiritual seekers go to connect with higher realms, or it can be symbolic, representing inner exploration and seeking divine wisdom within oneself. Ultimately, the Oracle Temple is a place of spiritual guidance and revelation.

Today marks the beginning of our sacred journey in the tranquil confines of Argos retreat. As seekers of spiritual enlightenment, we have consciously chosen to rise with the sun, embracing the early hours to evade the bustling crowds and distractions that may impede our connection to the divine.

On this auspicious day, we embarked upon a pilgrimage to Dahshour, the hallowed land that harbors the red pyramid and the white pyramid. These monumental structures stand as a testament to the delicate interplay between the masculine and the feminine energies, embodying the essence of harmony and balance in their very existence.

The significance of this harmonious duality resonates deep within our souls, reminding us of the inherent equilibrium that lies within each individual and the world at large. It serves as a potent reminder for us to strive for the integration of these energies within ourselves, allowing us to cultivate a harmonious existence within and without.

After our enriching visit, we sought solace and nourishment at the sacred abode known as the Blue Lotus Sanctuary. Here, we partook of our lovingly prepared homemade food, savoring each morsel with gratitude and reverence. This act of mindful consumption allows us to attune our senses to the sanctity of sustenance, recognizing the interconnectedness between our physical and spiritual nourishment.

In our collective endeavor to facilitate transformation and growth, we prioritize the need for spaciousness and integration. It is our intention to abstain from overwhelming ourselves with an excessive number of sacred sites in a single day. By doing so, we provide ample opportunity for all participants to deeply absorb and assimilate the profound wisdom and energy offered by each sacred location, fostering a more profound level of integration within their being.

May this day be but the first step on our sacred odyssey, guiding us towards ever-deepening spiritual experiences and profound inner transformation.

Not everyone believes that the Sphinx was built for Khafre, however. As far back as the mid-19th century, some Egyptologists pointed out that even though the Sphinx is located within the pyramid complex traditionally identified as Khafre’s, no contemporary inscriptions directly link him with the statue. Over the years, various researchers have credited the Sphinx to Khafre’s father, Khufu, and to Djedefre, another of Khufu’s sons. More recently, a new theory emerged that places the statue’s origins much further back, to some 9,000 years ago. Supporters of this hypothesis point to extensive erosion of the limestone near the top of the Great Sphinx, arguing that the last time the region experienced enough rainfall in the region to cause this type of erosion on limestone was 7000 B.C.

Dating the Sphinx back this far suggests the statue was the work of an advanced civilization predating the ancient Egyptians—an intriguing, if highly controversial, proposition. Most scholars still accept the traditional dating of the Sphinx to Khafre’s era, arguing that the new theory doesn’t take into account all the evidence on the table. Carved from the natural limestone of the Giza Plateau, known as the Mokkatam Formation, the Sphinx is known to erode very quickly, which would explain why it looks older than its age. Moreover, water drainage beneath the ground’s surface or flooding from the Nile River could have caused the erosion in question, rather than precipitation. According to the Ancient Egypt Research Association (AERA), the architectural and geological evidence both support the conclusion that the Sphinx and its adjoining temple were built along with the rest of Khafre’s pyramid complex, and were in fact among the last of the monuments to be completed.

Is the curse of King Tut real?

In early 1923, British archaeologist Howard Carter and his financier friend George Herbert, Lord Carnarvon, ceremoniously opened the long-obscured burial chamber of the boy pharaoh Tutankhamen in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings. Two months later, Carnarvon was dead, killed by blood poisoning from an infected mosquito bite on his cheek.

Newspapers speculated that he was the victim of the “mummy’s curse” or “curse of the Pharaohs,” which supposedly promised death to anyone who disturbed the rest of the kings and queens buried in the valley. The rumors only increased after the sudden, early deaths of several others connected to the excavation of Tut’s tomb. But is the curse real?

Not according to the British Medical Journal, which did a study in 2002 on the survival rates of 44 Westerners whom Carter had identified as being in Egypt when the tomb was examined. (The curse was said not to affect native Egyptians.) The study compared the mean age of death for the 25 of those people who were present at an opening or examination of the tomb with the others who weren’t. It found no significant association between potential exposure to the mummy’s curse and survival, as well as no sign at all that those who were exposed were more likely to die within 10 years.

Some theorists seeking a scientific explanation say that Carnarvon’s death may have been linked to toxins within Tut’s tomb. While some ancient mummies have been shown to carry potentially dangerous species of mold, and the tomb walls could have been covered in bacteria known to attack the respiratory system, experts dismiss this hypothesis. They argue that Carnarvon was chronically ill before he ever set foot near Tut’s tomb.

Besides, he didn’t die until months after his first exposure, and the toxins would have done him in much earlier.

Sekhmet
Her name is derived from the Ancient Egyptian word "shm," which means "power" or "might." Regardless of its significance, Sekhmet, the heavenly embodiment of battle and healing, is a formidable figure.

According to legend, Ra, the divine manifestation of all divines, felt dissatisfied with the disobedient humans who refused to obey the rules of Ma'at (cosmic order) by lying, stealing, and betraying one another. He was in a lot of pain. When he looked down on Earth, he formed Sekhmet from the fire of his eye. (According to another story, he sobbed and Sekhmet was born from his tears.

Sekhmet had the body of a woman and the head of a lion. She was enraged at her father's pain. So she descended from the skies and began to destroy everyone she perceived to be at fault. She'd drink the blood after murdering, but the people were divine beings as well, so Ra decided to put an end to Sekhemet's massacre of the people. He dispatched his other eye to find her, and when he did, He dug a large hole in the desert and filled it with red wine, putting it on her path. To think it was blood and drink it. Sekhmet saw the hole, drank till she was drunk, and then fell asleep.

Ra descended to earth and placed his hand on her forehead, transforming her into Hathor, the divine manifestation of motherhood, beauty, and fertility. Sekhmet continued to be the divine embodiment of battle, slaughter, and healing. She resides within Hathor, or Hathor resides within her. Which of the divine manifestation's two faces would appear to be in human hands. Sekhmet or Hathor

They are both sides of the same coin.

Medicine in ancient Egypt was founded on more than just knowledge. It included magical rituals associated with the divine manifestation Isis.

Bon's the journey from Seth is depicted in one of the myths. Isis desired to relax at a home for a bit. She pretended to be a poor woman, as did her kid.
She went to an elegant residence, but the owner demands her to leave, which she does with her son Horus. Later, a poor lady sees her need and invites her to her home. She provides her with food and a place to rest. The seven scorpions that guarded Isis on her voyage resolve to exact their vengeance on the wealthy women. So they gather all of their poison into one scorpion and send it to the rich woman's house to sting her little kid.

Isis and the poor ladies awaken to the wealthy women's screams, and Isis immediately realizes what the scorpions have done. Isis wraps her arms around the rich woman's son and begins to chant:

O Poison – stop your work
O poison- Do not spread in his body. I'm Isis, the spellcaster.
O poison- leave his body
O poison – commander you to stop your work

The two ladies know at this time that the divine manifestation Isis is standing before them. As an act of restitution for evicting her, the wealthy women give her their whole wealth. But when Isis abruptly snatches her kid and vanishes with the scorpions, from then medicine and magic became forever interconnected.
