Gold Head of the Falcon God Horus .touristguide

This exquisite gold head of the falcon god Horus, lord of the sun and patron deity of kingship, was found below the floor of the main chamber of his temple at Hierakonpolis, north of Edfu.

The head, which is made out of beaten gold, was fixed to a copper statue of the falcon Horus. It is topped by a twin-plumed headdress and decorated with a royal uraeus, or rearing cobra. The eyes are inlaid with rounded, polished, obsidian pieces, very similar to that of the real bird

Bracelet of king Shasheng II .
The Bracelet with a scarab The shanks of these bracelets resemble papyrus stems. Engraved umbels with coloured inlays frame a lapis lazuli scarab. The inscriptions on the back of the scarabs are difficult to read because of the mounting.

The Coffin of Lady Isis This coffin was discovered in the tomb of among several coffins of the family members. It belongs to Lady Isis, wife of the artisan Khabekhent, son of the Sennedjem. The outer cover depicts Isis in a loose robe carrying the sacred ivy leaves, and the coffin is surrounded by the four sons of Horus to protect her body.
