Join me for 7 days of exploring the dance and live music of Cairo’s vibrant nightclub scene!
From glam five-star hotels to the seediest cabarets, this curated tour will take you beyond the tourist shows and dance festivals to give you a unique insight into what’s happening in Cairo right now. You’ll witness real and current trends, costuming, music, and styles, all while traveling with a small, intimate group.
This is not your typical Egyptian tourist excursion.
My Cairo Nightlife tour is limited to 6 guests to give you an exceptional and personalized experience.
I’ve also designed this tour for the die-hard dance enthusiast who isn’t afraid of seeing the real Cairo, or of staying up all night and sleeping all day. We’ll spend five evenings (and very early mornings) attending dance and live music shows throughout the city. Then in the afternoons (after sleeping, of course!), I’ll lead a guided discussion about previous evening’s entertainments.
And you won’t have to worry about most meals; you’ll enjoy homemade breakfast and dinner, provided by our house cook. Guests will have an optional opportunity to perform with a live band in a special performance lab, with feedback and guidance from yours truly.
With over a decade of working as a dancer throughout the Arab world, I bring my practical and on-the-floor experience to each tour. Using my background of over 15 years of teaching dance and Arab culture, I plan each itinerary with the curious and enthusiastic dancer in mind. As a fluent Arabic speaker and my years of professional experience in the market, my goal is to give you an entertaining and educational journey that will leave you inspired and enlightened!
Please note that this tour does not include the more typical sightseeing destinations. If you wish to visit the pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, and other daytime sites, please plan to arrive several days before or stay several days after the Cairo Nightlife tour.

If you hold a certification with the Salimpour School of Dance this trip will earn you 10 CECs!

PAYMENT AND ADDITIONAL COSTS TO CONSIDER
To secure your spot you will need to make a deposit 0f $450 dollars. After you will be charged 5 reoccurring monthly payments of $300 until the trip is paid off. If you are signing up closer to the date of the trip you will need to be paid in full one month prior to the trip.
Airfare and other travel costs such as visa fees (approximately $25) and traveler’s insurance are not included in the price.
As mentioned this tour does not include visits to other tourist destinations such as the Pyramids or the National Museum. If you would like to stay for extra days before or after the Live Music Trip I will happy to provide additional nights of accommodations and a personal guide to show you around at an additional cost.
