ولدت السيدة ماريا القبطية فى المنيا – ملوى – قرية الشيخ عبادة الموجود بها بقايا آثار منزلها حيث بنى الصحابى عبادة بن الصامت أول مسجد فى ملوى عقب فتح عمرو بن العاص مصر.
