Our little friend from Bannerfish Bay 🩵

Over the past 14 months, this little fellow has become a familiar sight and a beloved buddy at our house reef. It’s such a pleasure to watch it grow up, enjoying its freedom as it swims around. Each dive feels a bit more special knowing this little friend is there, bringing a smile to all of us.

A few days ago, our lucky divers had the experience of a lifetime – they encountered a Mola mola (sunfish), one of the ocean’s most elusive and fascinating creatures! 🐟✨

Mola molas are rarely spotted in these waters. It's not every day you get to see this gentle giant up close!

Dunckerocampus multiannulatus, also known as the Multibar Pipefish, is a mesmerizing marine species with striking red and white stripes ❤️🤍 These fascinating creatures have a unique reproductive process: males carry fertilized eggs in a specialized brood pouch until they hatch into miniature pipefish!
