Our story
The Pharaohs continues its legacy of setting notable experiences for locals and visitors with its wide range of services.
The Pharaohs originated in the late 1970s, when it kicked off with its major touristic sites in Egypt - Nile Pharaoh and Golden Pharaoh – that both exhibit true Ancient Egyptian stories on the river Nile. Within that decade, 138 Nile Street in Giza has been marked as one of Egypt’s landmark for every local and visitor.
Nile Pharaoh: inspired by the sensual lines of the ancient solar barques, the Nile Pharaoh praises Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of joy, celebration, and love. It is a three-deck vessel, including a sun-deck that welcomes up to 220 guests. We take pride in being the first cruising restaurant in Egypt that serves a variety of world foods and drinks, including cocktails.
Golden Pharaoh: Horus, the falcon-headed boat, renowned as the ruler of the world of living, is a two-deck vessel that seats up to 220 guests that enjoy a sense of privacy in our sundeck. It is recognized by its majestic designs that all narrate Pharaohnic tales, including its four decorated falcon-heads that bring light to earth and guide the boat to return its guests safe and sound to its kingdom.
