What is Abydos?

It is one of the ancient cities of Egypt and a major center for the worship of Osiris. It is also believed to have been the first capital of Egypt, with a history dating back over 5,000 years.

Why is the Karnak Temple Complex a unique experience to visit?

The Karnak Temple Complex is the largest religious complex in ancient Egypt and one of the biggest temple structures in the world. It was built over more than 2,000 years and contributed to by 30 pharaohs from different eras. It was dedicated to the worship of the god Amun-Ra, as well as Mut and Khonsu.

Menkaure was one of the kings of Egypt, the son of King Khafre and the grandson of Khufu. He belonged to the Fourth Dynasty during the Old Kingdom period. He built the third pyramid of Giza, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and was buried in it after his death. His reign was known for greater freedom in practicing religious rituals.

The Solar Boats, or Khufu's Boats, were discovered in two pits near the Great Pyramid of Khufu. One of the boats, made of cedar wood, was found disassembled into 1,224 pieces, with not a single piece missing. It included five pairs of oars, two steering paddles, and a cabin—these were the components of the solar boat.
The Khufu Boat Museum was built in 1985 to display the reconstructed boat of Khufu.

Psusennes I was a pharaoh of the 21st Dynasty who ruled Egypt and protected its borders from any foreign threats. He built royal palaces and a temple in Thebes, which included a temple for his son Khonsu, his wife Mut, and also a temple for Amun.

He was also called the "Silver Pharaoh" due to the vast amount of silver found in his tomb.

Daily celebration items and a fashion mannequin belonging to King Tutankhamun were found in the annex of his tomb in the Valley of the Kings.
This mannequin is made of wood and then painted. It is 150 cm tall, which matches the height of Tutankhamun. However, the mannequin has no arms or legs and is fixed on a base for stability.
It was most likely used to display the pharaoh's garments and crowns so he could see if they needed any adjustments before wearing them.
