💰💰💰Tipping💰💰💰
So we have been having a discussion here in the office today regarding the dreaded tipping.
What are people's opinions and who do you tip?
We know it is a difficult thing to get right, so just seeing what everyone thinks and does.
I, Sharon, tend to tip at the start of a holiday and at the end to staff in the hotel who have gone out of their way to help/provide a good service.. Also, I will tip any taxis etc.
It is a hard one to do as I am English and we are not used to tipping, only if we go out for meals. Whereas in Egypt it is like a given.
Mainly for the fact that wages are low and the cost of living has shot up these last months.
I have seen a guest of a hotel once tip every single person they saw in the hotel. All this done was make everyone else feel bad that they did not want to or could not do the same.
Is there a happy balance.
This topic drives me crazy :)
