Queens of Egypt. The first hairdresser in ancient history was seen on the coffin of Queen Kawit, wife of King Amenhotep II of the Middle Kingdom, Eleventh Dynasty, around 3020 BC.

We see Queen Kawit sitting on a chair in a state of luxury and honor... She wears a dress with short hair straps, wears jewelry, and drinks from a bowl of milk... Box of canopic vessels of King Tutankhamun / Egyptian Museum

Made of alabaster, the height is 85.5 cm and a square base is 54 cm
🔹It was made to preserve the entrails after mummification
🔹Put the box on a gilded wooden slide
🔹The base is covered with gold leaves decorated with symbols of Osiris (Al-Dajid) and Isis
🔹It has a top cover with hieroglyphic inscriptions engraved and colored with dark blue dyes.
King Tutankhamun’s entrails were preserved in canopic vessels, namely the liver, lungs, stomach, and intestines. It was believed that these organs would be preserved intact, and the box was placed in the burial chamber.
