Private 2 Days Trip to Luxor
Crossing Nile
First day in Luxor
Pick up at the hotel early in the morning (5-6 am). You drive along a newly built road through the desert in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. After about 2 hours, take a short break at the rest stop, where you can go to the toilet or stretch your legs.
Continue your journey to Kena, where the journey takes you through the green and densely populated Nile Valley and immerse yourself in everyday Egyptian life.
You will reach Luxor around 10 am and visit the Karnak temple complex, the largest temple complex in the world with the famous pillared hall and sacred lake. Next, you will take a bus to visit the central Luxor Temple with the famous Abu El Hagag Mosque.
After that, you will embark on a motorboat cruise on the Nile to get to know Luxor from the waterfront.
Next, you will enjoy lunch at an Egyptian restaurant while sampling typical local dishes.
The bus will take you to your hotel. You may want to shower and recharge your battery so you can enjoy your evening in Luxor.
In the evening, if you wish, you can enjoy a sound and light performance at Karnak Temple (optional, ordered locally) in English or in different languages ​​through hearing aids (about 1 hour).
After that, the rest of the evening is at your disposal.

Second day in Luxor

In the morning, after having breakfast at your hotel, you will travel to Western Thebes around the world famous Valley of the Kings with the tombs of the new kingdom’s pharaohs. There, among other things, rests the golden pharaoh Tut Anch Amon.
The bus will take you to the temple on the terrace of Queen Hatshepsut, who became the greatest female builder in history.
Then, marvel at the colossal figures of Amenhotep 3, known as the Colossi of Memnon, before refreshing with a typical Western Thebes lunch on the way back to Your Hotel

Get ready to blast across the Hurghada desert as we make our way to the Bedouin village situated approx 25km from the quad station.
Open up that throttle and zoom across the sand and up and over the dunes.
Once we reach the village it is time to chill for a while.
Watch how they make bread in the traditional way, , drink some Egyptian tea and have a camel ride if you wish.
Then it is back on the quads and across the desert until we reach the quad station.
This trip can be made in the morning or afternoon/evening.

Der griechische Gott Serapis.
Kolossaler Kopf des Gottes Serapis, dieser Kopf porträtiert Serapis, einen der wichtigsten Götter in der griechischen und römischen Zeit. Der Beschützer der ptolemäischen Herrscher, laut dem römischen Historiker Tacitus, wurde der Serapiss-Kult von Ptolemaios I. gegründet, der einem Traum folgte. Der Gründer der ptolemäischen Dynastie wollte den Wohlstand seiner neuen Hauptstadt Alexandria sichern.
Der Kult breitete sich bald über Ägypten und das Mittelmeer aus.
Serapis verbindet griechische Ikonographie mit ägyptischen Traditionen. Im Aussehen ähnelt er dem griechischen Gott Zeus – mit lockigem Haar und einem Bart mit Locken. Sein Name Serapis leitet sich von Oriris-Apis ab, dem heiligen Stier von Memphis. Seine göttliche Frau war Isis und ihr Sohn Harpokrates. Serapis' Kult sollte die ägyptische und die griechische Bevölkerung entzweien.

Amr ibn al-As Mosque
The Mosque of Amr ibn al-As - was originally built in 641–642 AD, as the center of the newly founded capital of Egypt, Fustat. The original structure was the first mosque ever built in Egypt and the whole of Africa. For 600 years, the mosque was also an important center of Islamic learning until Al-Muizz's Al-Azhar Mosque in Islamic Cairo replaced it.Through the twentieth century, it was the fourth largest mosque in the Islamic world.
The location for the mosque was the site of the tent of the commander of the Muslim army, general Amr ibn al-As. One corner of the mosque contains the tomb of his son, 'Abd Allah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As. Due to extensive reconstruction over the centuries nothing of the original building remains, but the rebuilt Mosque is a prominent landmark and can be seen in what today is known as Old Cairo. It is an active mosque with a devout congregation, and when prayers are not taking place, it is also open to visitors and tourists.
Amr ibn al-As-Moschee
Die Moschee von Amr ibn al-As - wurde ursprünglich 641–642 n. Chr. als Zentrum der neu gegründeten ägyptischen Hauptstadt Fustat erbaut. Structura originală a fost prima moschee construită vreodată în Egipt și în întreaga Africa.
