We had an awesome Earth Week this year with more participation in events than ever before. Even friends from Cairo and Hurghada joined in.

Many new initiatives started from this week and we hope to follow up in the upcoming months and get them rolling.

We also hope that you all gained as much as we did in terms of awareness through participation, or in the least had some fun :)

We want to thank everyone that participated and made this week special and a huge "Thank You" goes out to all who supported the events of the week:

The Kids of Bustan and 3ammo Samy;
; Nadine for initiating the Bustan Recycling Project;
Tatjana Romanenkow for coordinating the Earth Market;
Orascom Hotels for Supplying the market with tables, and participating in all events and supporting the whole week;

Islam from Sound Box for helping every year and providing sound at The Earth Market;

🏁 The Recycled Raft Race! 🏁

Teams of max 6 participants gather and build a raft to be raced across the lagoon and back.
Rafts must be built from scratch onsite without the use of any powered tools. Use of rope, scissors and recycled material is permitted. Followed by prize-giving and celebrations!
