Remembering Lotte Hass, born November 6th, 1928 - the first woman to dive the Red Sea. Nicknamed "The First Lady of Diving", she was married to Hans Hass, famed underwater photographer and fellow diver. Lotte herself became an accomplished underwater photographer, and was one of the first women to do so. As a team, they helped to bring scuba diving into the public eye.

Lotte appeared in a number of films, many produced by her husband Hans. An extraordinary pioneer in the world of diving, she was inducted into both the Women Divers Hall of Fame and the International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame.
