Karnak or the Karnak Temple Complex, which is known as the Karnak Temple, is a group of temples, buildings and columns, where expansion and construction operations continued from the Pharaonic era, specifically the kings of the Middle Kingdom until the Roman era in Luxor in Egypt on the East Bank. The temple was built for the divine trinity Amun (Amun-Ra in the modern era), his wife the goddess Mut and their son the god Khonsu; each of them has a temple affiliated with the Karnak Temple Complex. Sometimes tourists and non-specialists in the Karnak Temple mean only the temple affiliated with Amun, i.e. Amun-Ra.

Luxor Temple is a large ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the east bank of the Nile River in the city of Luxor (now known as ancient Thebes). It was founded in 1400 BC.[5] The Luxor Temple was built to worship Amun-Ra, his wife Mut, and their son Khonsu, the gods also known as the Theban Triad (Theban Triad). The Luxor Temple was built during the reigns of the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Dynasties. The most important existing structures in the temple are those built by the pharaohs Amenhotep III (1397โ1360 BC) and Ramesses II (1290โ1223 BC) (who added the open courtyard, pylon, and two obelisks to the temple). Thutmose III (1490โ1436 BC) also built shrines for visitors to the Theban Triad, and Tutankhamun (1348โ1337 BC) completed its wall reliefs. The triple shrine, which had been built earlier during the reign of Hatshepsut and Thutmose III (18th Dynasty), was destroyed and rebuilt under Ramesses II. The temple was also called Ipet Resit (meaning the southern sanctuary or place of Amun-Re).[6] It is one of the best preserved and most beautifully built Egyptian temples, and it is here that Egyptian temple planning is most clearly demonstrated.

The Mortuary Temple or Temple of Medinet Habu or Temple of Ramses III; is one of the greatest temples of the Twentieth Dynasty, built by King Ramses III to perform his funeral rituals and to worship the god Amun. The temple consists of a great entrance surrounded by two towers, on these towers are inscriptions representing the arms of the family and pictures of Ramses III, and the upper floors of these two towers were designated for the royal harem. This temple is considered the most luxurious temple in terms of furniture and inscriptions, and the statue of (Amun) in it was decorated with precious stones. On the walls of the temple we find valuable inscriptions, a scene depicting the naval victory over the tribes of the Sea Peoples (the Shardana), and other scenes representing the naval campaign against the Libyans. We also see some deities carrying offerings from the royal estates preparing them for the god Amun in the temple.
