Three days will change your health and life
▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️▪️👌 Burying in the sand is one of the methods of treatment of many diseases, and the sands of Siwa Oasis contain minerals and natural elements that are useful to the body and help in its healing, and one of the most important diseases that are treated by burial sessions in the sand following:
🔸rheumatism
🔸rheumatoid
🔸high humidity
🔸Arthritis
🔸Varicose veins
🔸ED
🔸Some cases of infertility in both sexes
In general, burial in hot sand activates blood circulation in the body, and helps treat cartilage with massage sessions.
The method of burial sessions in the sand
Burial sessions take place in hot sand in the summer months , where a hole is dug in the sand in the early morning, and when the time for burial comes in the afternoon, the sand of this hole becomes very hot due to the heat of the sun, then the person is buried in this hole up to his neck after he is stripped of all his clothes The heat of the sand opens the pores of the skin and the body begins to sweat profusely and blood flows in the veins and arteries, and the duration of stay in the hole is from 10 to 15 minutes, after which the person wraps his body with the blanket and enters the prepared tent next to the hole and then closes the tent tightly to prevent the air stream from entering, the temperature inside the tent is also high and helps in more sweating, and in the meantime the person drinks specific warm drinks and before leaving the tent he wears heavy clothes and wraps with the blanket, then the person takes a break in his home for about two hours Then he takes a specific meal, and this session is repeated for a period ranging from three to seven days depending on the condition of the person, and during this period it is preferable to take sessions in the salt cave, and on the last day a massage session is performed for the person with natural oils, the most important of which are olive oil and vinegar In order to close the pores of the body, it is preferable after the sessions to do cupping to get rid of the bad blood.

It is not just the remains of mud buildings, it is a witness to an ancient history full of the most beautiful tales, I can imagine how 40 men from seven different Amazighian tribes decided in 1203 AD to build the fortified castle of Shali in order to protect themselves from the attacks of the desert Bedouins, as those Bedouins used to attack on The oasis in times of harvest to loot its crops and kill its inhabitants, and these men succeeded in building the castle, and they opened between its walls at first one door that opens at sunrise and closes at sunset, but what about building materials?
The materials that were used in the construction of houses in Shali were all from siwan environment and were very simple, and the walls were made of karshif, which is a rock of clay and salt extracted near salt lakes, and the mortar used in construction is clay as well. As for the ceilings of the houses, palm wood was used. They are supported by olive wood, the doors and windows of the houses were made of palm and olive wood, knowing that these materials used in the city’s architecture are very adaptable to the climate of Siwa .
Many people told me when they visited Shali Castle for the first time that they smelled the smell of history emanating from its remains!!😯 Yes it is, and you can feel the warmth just because you walk in its narrow streets and imagine its simple past.
