A surprise visitor at our sales office in La Caleta 🦔

Imagine the surprise when a tiny, spiky visitor made an unexpected appearance in our sales office!

This baby hedgehog, with its adorable little snout and curious eyes, wandered in, probably in search of a cozy spot or maybe just a bit of adventure.

Luckily, our kind-hearted team member Maria, also known for her love of animals, gently guided the little fellow to safety.

She has thoughtfully made a little sanctuary for the hedgehog, until it grows a little more and is ready to continue it's journey in the wild.

A hidden beach in Costa Adeje...

Playa Diego Hernandez, located between La Caleta and El Puertito on the southwest coast of Tenerife, is a hidden gem that offers a unique and tranquil beach experience. This secluded sandy beach, is accessible only on foot or by sea.

You can access the beach via a coastal walking path from La Caleta or from the upper road near the golf course, bear in mind, the path is steep and rocky.

Another interesting fact about this area is that it is declared a Site of Scientific Interest due to the presence of halophilic vegetation, which attracts various species of marine and migratory birds.

All in all it's well worth a vist - but remember to have the right footware!

Villas Tenerife had the pleasure to attend the FITUR International Tourism Trade Fair in Madrid, yesterday, for it's opening day at the IFEMA MADRID exhibition center.

This annual event attracts thousands of exhibitors and visitors from around the world. The atmosphere was electric, with colorful displays, interactive exhibits, and enthusiastic representatives eager to share information with us, about their destinations and services.

Our visit to FITUR was an unforgettable experience that has given us a deeper appreciation for the richness and diversity of global tourism.

Whether you're a travel professional or simply a passionate traveller, FITUR offers something for everyone and is a must-visit event for anyone interested in the world of travel!

Tomorrow, Monday 20th January is the Celebration of San Sebastian in La Caleta.

See below for the programme of events:

12:00 h. Eucharist in honour of San Sebastián Mártir, sung by the group ‘Boleros de Armeñime’. This will be followed by the procession along the usual route with the participation of the music group Ntra. Sra. de Las Nieves.

At the end of the procession, the traditional blessing of animals.

18:00 h. Eucharist.

Happy Three Kings Day 2025

On January 6th, Epiphany Day, we celebrate Three Kings’ Day, a special date for the locals, celebrating the cultural traditions and family gatherings.

The eve of the Epiphany hosts the grand parade 'La Cabalgata' a colourful procession and highlight for the children,

An important part of the festivities is the traditional Roscon de Reyes. a sweet bread adorned with candied fruits and very popular at the family gatherings.
