This traditional 100 year old farmhouse is situated inland from the Mediterranean in the Axarquia area of Malaga province in Andalucia. Enveloped by the rugged, verdant mountains of the Sierra de Tejeda to the east, the Montes de Malaga to the west and the panorama of Lake

Vinuela and the Mediterranean to the south, this place really is a paradise found. At times you can see the mountains of Africa on the horizon. Yet this hidden idyll is only an hour from Malaga airport. Casa Belmonte has been renovated imaginatively in a rustic style. It faces south and sits among 5000sqm of olives and almond groves. The tranquil location makes you feel on top of the world! The property features a fabulous 9m x 4m private chemical free saltwater pool with a large sunbathing area, a shaded summer terrace with a dining area (which seats 12 comfortably) & a built in BBQ. The cool, light, spacious house has five double bedroom and three stunning bathrooms. A comfortable home from home for up to 12 guests. There is a large family kitchen/diner and a luxurious sitting room with satellite TV and south facing views. The mature gardens and vine covered terraces that surround the property offer many places to relax and unwind in or out of the sun. Casa Belmonte lies between the two pretty white villages of Periana and Alcaucin - both 10 mins away by car through gorgeous countryside. The sunshine beaches of the eastern Costa del Sol are 25 minutes away. The historic cities of Granada, Malaga and Cordoba are all easy day trips through gorgeous countryside. Casa Belmonte is ideal for family holidays or groups of friends. If you like being at one with nature this is the place for you.
