Today was the salida de carretas from Malaga towards El Rocio in Huelva. It is an annual pilgrimage of about 300 km and they will arrive on Thursday. About 70 Carreras ( think large gypsy caravan ) pulled by tractors. Part of the route will be done on horseback. It’s quite a sight! Very traditional and loads of atmosphere!

Unfortunately today it decided to rain……🌧️🌧️🌧️

Special occasion? Treat someone to a lovely lunch in Benalmadena Pueblo at the Escuela de Hosteleria La Fonda.

The Pueblo is in itself worth a visit - very typical, very pretty and the restaurant is lovely. A lovely patio with great views.

Add to all that excellent food and service all at a great price with wines included. €27 per person !

Make a reservation online. Because it’s a school it’s a set menu so if you have any dietary requirements you need to specify when making the reservation.

Relive the 70’s with Godspell in Malaga. If you are here between now and January it is well worth going to Soho theatre and enjoyjng this modern version with just the right amount of humour! Thank you Antonio Banderas for another great show!

Good to enjoy a meal at their restaurant, Tercera Acto. Excellent quality of food and cocktails!

We have made (😜 yes, we have an artist in the team!! ) Corn Hole, Hoopla, and Skittles. All great fun!

If you’re not familiar with Corn Hole, it is just like throwing a bean bag in the hole.

New shower screens, upgraded ‘super wifi’, new curtains….

After a shakey start we are feeling positive for 2022! And don’t we all need our holidays!! But first the hard work….. we have loads of things planned for the villas over the next few months, fitting tasks in between visitors. We will be decorating, a new chimney is going into to Los Limones, new bits of furniture all round, bathroom updates and my favourite - a ‘games zone’ with corn hole,skittles,hoopla!
