On Friday 23rd August, the I ‘Nit dels Ciris’takes place in Javea Historic Centre.
A night in which the streets surrounding the parish church will be lit up with hundreds of candles to celebrate the celebration of Saint Bartholomew.
La Nit dels Ciris takes place between 20:00 and 23:00 and will feature live music by Summer Trio and the Marinae Ensemble.
From 20:00 onwards, part of the street lighting in the streets of San Bartolomé, San Buenaventura, Plaza Celestino Pons, Plaza de la Iglesia, Calle Mayor from Plaza de Baix to Calle Primicias, will be switched off and will be illuminated only by candles.
In addition, the parish church, the Town Hall, the Soler Blasco Museum, the Casa
Casa Primicias, Casa Bover and the Central Cinema will also switch off their lights.

The Soler Blasco Museum will be open from 18:00 to 00:00, as well as some shops and the Municipal Market.
In addition to this, the Parish has organised a vigil at 20:45 with adoration before the Blessed Sacrament with Hakuna.

Changes to The Moors and Christians schedule on Sunday 14th July.
The Board of Festes de Moros i Cristians has decided to bring forward the celebration of the XIX Festival Music Concert to this Sunday, July 14, due to the time coincidence with the final of the Euro Cup. Initially scheduled for 20:30 p.m., the concert will take now take place at the earlier time of 18:00 p.m. on Avda.Lepanto.
In addition, the great family festival of dels Moros i Cristians invites everyone to enjoy together the grand finale at the conclusion of the concert.
The Festival Board will bring together festive and sporting passions with the installation of two 60x60 screens in the same location where the concert will take place. In this way, neighbors and visitors will be able to enjoy, first, the magnificent musical programme prepared for this year and, afterwards, celebrate triumph in the Eurocup. There will be bar service.
