Whether you're looking for sun, sea, golf, water-sports, a romantic getaway or just relaxing by the pool/beach, look no further. The local beaches of ARENALES DEL SOL andcarabassi are a five minute walk away and offer beautiful blue flag sandy beaches, with a variety of water sports, beach bars (In high season) and sand dunes. The main city of Alicante is a 15 minute drive away and offers a variety of shopping, restaurants and nightlife. Within easy reach is Gran Alacant (walkable) with a variety of international bars, restaurants and supermarkets, the seaside resort of SANTA POLA with it's scuba diving centre, and Elche, famous for it's palm gardens and shoe factories. Local tour operators offer a variety of trips in and around the Costa Blanca for those of you that just want to sit back and relax. The apartment is a 2 minute stroll from a natural park, home to various birds and small wildlife. Arenales has a cycle/jogging route all around it and the prom is approximately 5 kms long. The nearest golf club is approximately 20 minutes drive away and a further seven championship courses a short drive away. Arenales is a very busy summer resort with a large variety of bars, restaurants and beach activities. There are craft stalls and a childrens play area in summer. In the winter, it is very quiet and a relaxing sunshine break. A small selection of bars will remain open throughout the year.
