The old town center of Altea is just 10 minutes by car from Guesthouse villa Altea. The authentic cobbled streets and the Spanish houses with white facades make this pretty town the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Altea has a bohemian atmosphere and is also sunny during all seasons of the year! If you walk through the small staircase streets, dotted with bougainvilleas, beautiful balconies with hanging geraniums, orange trees and numerous art galleries, you arrive at the beautiful historic center with breathtaking viewpoints. The absolute highlight of Altea is the beautiful church that towers over the old town center: La Iglesia de la virgen del Consuelo (Our Lady of Consolation). The church has two domes covered with blue sapphire glazed tiles and the inside of the church is also really beautiful to see!

Het oude stadcentrum van Altea is net 10 autominuten van Guesthouse villa Altea gelegen. De authentieke gekasseide straatjes en de Spaanse huisjes met witte geveltjes maken dit mooie stadje de perfecte plek om te ontsnappen aan de drukte van alledag. Altea heeft een bohemienachtige sfeer en is bovendien zonnig gedurende alle seizoenen van het jaar! Als je wandelt door de kleine straatjes, bezaaid met bougainvilleas, mooie balkons met hanggeraniums, sinaasappelbomen en vele kunstgalerijen, kom je op het mooie historische centrum uit met adembenemende uitzichtpunten. Het absolute hoogtepunt van Altea is toebedeeld aan de prachtige kerk die boven het oude stadcentrum uittorent: La Iglesia de la virgen del Consuelo (Onze Lieve Vrouw van de troost) De kerk heeft twee koepels die bedekt zijn met blauwe saffier geglazuurde tegels en de binnenkant van de kerk is ook werkelijk prachtig om te zien!
