Bad news, the whirlpool bath had to go……long history. Good news, barbie has taken its place and what a location. Just by the pool and nicely done up for safety. Enjoy❤️❤️❤️

1st post and hopefully not the last.

Let's go back to my most expensive holiday in 2010. As with every year, we exchanged our timeshare for two weeks in Fuerteventura and ensured we had booked a car hire for the period. Day before travel, the car hire company called to cancel the booking as they had no cars left due to the financial crisis. We still went ahead with the planned holiday on the assumption that a car would be available with other companies on the Island. Bad, bad assumption as none available for a month......it was August!
A day before our travel back to the UK, my son's ingenious idea to go view a villa advertised in the local papers just to get a free ride in the Estate Agents AC car round the golf course with no intent to purchase a property on holiday. Turned out to be the most expensive car ride and after a few silly offers, embarrassment got the better of me. Made the offer, parting my hard earned £2000 for the deposit. This is how we ended up with a villa in Fuerteventure...had serious anxiety attacks at the time but looking back..........best thing that happened to us.
