Jen and I went to Damary’s Adeje Chicken for lunch today. Fabulous lunch but then Damian, the Boss told us that they are closing for good next week after 35 years. The family, Damian, Maria and Pedro are retiring. We thanked them for many years of wonderful food and hospitality. We know that is a favourite place of many of our guests and friends and, to my mind, the BEST Adeje chicken. We wish them a lovely retirement 😢😘❤️

Everyone should know about the Coqueluche Beach Bar near La Caleta. Literally 5 to 10 minutes away from Club Olympus by car/taxi. Superb chill out place with great music, food, cocktails, drinks and superb staff. They will organise a taxi back.
Just being by the sea, watching the sunset and parapenters landing is so relaxing. Give it a go!

Great to have a beer with Paul and Lynn Taylor of “Taylor’s Bar” in Los Cristianos. You might remember they looked after the Poolbar at Olympus for a few years and changed the whole dynamic of the place. Lovely people and great memories 👍

Unfortunately we are losing our friend and star team member ‘Big Rich Spalding’.
He is making a change for health and family reasons. He has been part of our Saturdays for as long as we can remember. We will miss this marvellous gentleman and wish him tons of love and all the best for the future 😢❤️❤️❤️

NEWSFLASH: Chances bakery at Garden City has our outstanding Pork Pies back on the menu! We had a hiatus because of EU Reg’s about pork products, now resolved and they are the best pork pies you will get in Tenerife. His pastries and pies are still fabulous and sandwich/airport packs are the best. Give it a try, just next to the WinningPost Bar at Garden City 👍

Adeje Chicken at Damary’s this afternoon, superb spicy chicken, great service, both fed and watered for 34 Euros. It is a must visit, 10 minutes by taxi from Club Olympus. It is a classic Canarian dish unique to our area. It opens at 3pm in the afternoon until 11pm at night. It will not let you down!👍
