In 1879, Antoni Gaudí designed the two street lights in Plaça Reial, each featuring a stone base, cast iron column, six arms with gas lamps, and red floral patterns. Gaudí also adorned the center of each column with the Barcelona coat of arms

This show will tell the passion and the death of Jesus Christ through his sculptures.
Passion Façade Illumination Event
From 24th to 26th March, starting at 8:00 pm, visitors can enjoy a spectacular musical light show featuring text by Mons. Javier Vilanova, Auxiliary Bishop of Barcelona, projected onto the Passion façade.
Two sessions will be held each day, with each session lasting 30 minutes. The first session, will begin at 8:00 pm, followed by the second session at 8:45 pm.
This event is free and open to everyone.
