In 1879, Antoni Gaudรญ designed the two street lights in Plaรงa Reial, each featuring a stone base, cast iron column, six arms with gas lamps, and red floral patterns. Gaudรญ also adorned the center of each column with the Barcelona coat of arms

Passion Faรงade Illumination Event
From 24th to 26th March, starting at 8:00 pm, visitors can enjoy a spectacular musical light show featuring text by Mons. Javier Vilanova, Auxiliary Bishop of Barcelona, projected onto the Passion faรงade.
Two sessions will be held each day, with each session lasting 30 minutes. The first session, will begin at 8:00 pm, followed by the second session at 8:45 pm.
This event is free and open to everyone.
