The Space

A modern, stylish and bright apartment in a lively neighbourhood with many restaurants, bars and theatres. This great apartment has the adv

antage of being right in the center of Barcelona within walking distance to the most famous popular boulevard of Barcelona La Rambla. Our apartment has been completely renovated, refurbished and modernized to achieve the quality and high standard necessary to make this a comfortable apartment. All windows are double glazed. The apartment has an open plan living with a seating area including air conditioning, a large couch and a smart flatscreen TV. During the summer, you can enjoy the sun on the balcony all day long. The kitchen is fully equipped and there is an extendable table for dining. The light in the living room is controlled by a wall dimmer to set the atmosphere of your liking. The master bedroom has a large double sized bed with a bed side table and a high wardrobe for your belongings. It has a comfortable air conditioning unit. The twin bedroom has 2 separate beds that can be pushed together. It has the original build in wardrobe. In the bathroom there is a good size shower, wash basin and toilet. The apartment is fully furnished, all bed linens and towels are provided. Please note that there is no washing machine, but there are many self service laundries in the area. The apartment is on the third floor without an elevator. Features:

The public transport of this location is fantastic. At 2 minutes walk you will find metro station Parallel with two lines, line 2 (purple) and 3 (green). Line 2 will take you directly, without changing, to La Sagrada Familia. For Park Guell, you can take line 3, also without changing. For the Fair Congress (Fira) on the Plaza España you are only 2 metro stops away. On the Parallel avenue you will find many bus stops that will take you anywhere in the city. E.g. If you don’t prefer to walk to the beach you take a bus that leaves you at the beach in 5-10 minutes. From the airport you can take the Aerobus to Plaza España and take the metro (2 stops). A taxi ride will take approximately 20 minutes.

CULTURED, HISTORIC & LIVELY! We love the location of our apartment as it is ideal for sightseeing by foot. The apartment is located at the border of El Raval and Avenida Parallel. The area itself has many local shops and supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and traditional tapas and pinchos bars. The Avenida Parallel is the theatre avenue of Barcelona with venues and entertainment, such as the famous El Molino. El Raval is a multicultural neighbourhood that has a lot of personality and character. Please note that the street can be noisy, especially during the high season. Some of the places you can easily reach by foot are: La Rambla and Mercat La Boqueria Gaudi’s Palau Guell Columbus monument Maritim Museum Port Vell Maremagnum, only mall in Barcelona that is open 365 days a year Catedral Gothic quarter Plaça Sant Jaume Plaça Real Picasso Museum Plaça Cataluña and Plaça España MACBA Museum Montjuic mountain The mount Montjuic is easy accessible by foot or the funicular. You can visit the castle, Miro foundation and Olympic stadium. You will have spectacular views over Barcelona. There are some nice restaurant there. From there you can take the funicular to the beach. Around the corner, on the short way to the Rambla you will find the Police station Mossos d’Escuadra , Gym facilities with swimming pool (they have day passes for visitors), Carrefour supermarket, bakeries and many bars and restaurants. The famous night club Apolo is just across the street! -- When a booking is made, we can send you our recommendations for the nice restaurants and pubs near our apartment, music venues, current events and places of interests. We will be at your disposal for any problems, questions or advice. Guests are checked in by our friendly colleague, then left to enjoy the apartment in peace.
