"La Fageda de Gresolet" is a hidden treasure in the heart of Catalonian. This well kept forest is little known due to the popularity of the emblematic Pedraforca. Still, it is important to highlight that this forest along with the Pedraforca was the start of the conservation movement that began back in 1920 and finished in 1982 with the protection of the whole area.
In this forest you can find beech, fir tree, pine tree and many types of moss.

If you live near Barcelona and you’re looking for some waterfalls with plenty of space and nice landscapes then you must visit “Riera de Riells” in Parc Montseny. It’s a moderate hike and it’s worth mentioning that to access the best part of it will require some proper hiking, you can go with kids but the smaller they are the harder it will be for them to climb up the first part before accessing the beautiful side of the waterfall.
