What an amazing place to stay. We have done quite a few cave house holidays and we can say that this is the best cave we have stayed in. It is a home from home and is equipped with everything you would need for a comfortable and special holiday.
Mark and Shirley are fantastic hosts and nothing is too much trouble. They go the extra mile and some more.
Comfortable beds, very good quality bedding and towels and even bathrobes.

We have already booked our next holiday here.

Barbara and Roger visited Cuevas Helena Holidays for the first time, initially booking a 3-night stay. They loved it so much that they extended their visit to 5 nights and have already rebooked for a full week in July⭐️

We inform you that the A4200 road on the Baza River bridge will be partially reopened from 4:00 p.m. today.

Please be careful as a single lane will be enabled for both directions, regulated by a traffic light.

Se ruega precaución ya que será habilitado un sólo carril para ambos sentidos regulado por un semáforo.

Benamaurel Town Hall is organizing a collection to support those in need😢

Please consider donating any of the following items:

📍 Drop-off Location: Benamaurel Town Hall
📅 Date: Thursday, 2nd November
🕒 Time: 12pm
🎒 Items Needed:

Non-perishable food items (pasta, tins, etc.)
Baby essentials (nappies, formula, etc.)
Hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, etc.)Toiletries

Clothing & Linen ?

We have asked about whether clothing and bedding donations are accepted ?

Once we get a reply we shall update on this post as soon as we know.

We have bags of clothes, bedding, and towels we’re ready to donate them.

We can have separate bags for animal shelters if anyone knows if there’s a drop off point for the animals 🐶😢

Like so many people we want to help the poor people in Valencia just heartbreaking 💔

🛑 From the Benamaurel City Council, the neighbors are asked to communicate incidents caused by the rain: road condition, access to housing, floods, etc. to be able to assess damage and act accordingly.
City Council machinery is already working to rehabilitate accesses in all neighborhoods as soon as possible.

We’ve been through a night like no other constant, powerful thunder and lightning that has kept us awake until the early hours.

Electricity has been off & on all night, and even now, at 8:00 am, the thunder is still going .

Poor animals outside must’ve been terrified 🥲
