will be ready to start a lovely 90 minute drive to downtown Seville. This is a combination of relaxing bus and slow paced walking. As locals and visitors alike say, Seville is a blessed with not only charm but also outstanding beauty. The city also reportedly was created by the Greek God, Hercules. Your guide will give you an educational, entertaining and interesting insight to this historical city which today is the financial and cultural center of southern Spain. As soon as you approach to the Seville City you will enjoy gorgeous views and a 45 minute panoramic tour will show you the true highlights of this quaint town. The scenic tour of Seville begins from the "Palm Trees Avenue" and continues all along the Guadalquivir River. You will have the opportunity to see and learn about bull ring of Seville, its construction and stories. Then your official guide will take you to Spain Square, where you will make the first stop to admire the beauty of this square and then to the Maria Luisa Park to take some pictures. You will head to the Golden Tower where the walking tour will start. The walking portion is approximately 2 hours in total time but not all of it is spent walking. You will visit the Jewish Quarter, also called Saint Cross, where you will spend around 30 minutes navigating through the little narrow streets. This area is known for its numerous squares filled with orange trees. You can stop for a treat in one of the numerous cafes which this district is so well reputed for including the famous Seville orange marmalade! The Royal Alcazar Palace is next on the walking route. It is renowned as one of the most beautiful palace in Spain, being the most outstanding example of Mudejar architecture found on the Iberian Peninsula. You will get to go inside this unique palace. Your knowledgeable guide will narrate the stories about the hidden secrets of this 10th century Moorish fortress. There are incredible indoor gardens, fountains and handcrafted walls. Your journey continues on to the Cathedral of Seville. It is the third largest cathedral in the world. First you will admire the orange tree indoor garden of the Cathedral, and will appreciate the beauty of Giralda Tower (climb it is optional if your physical condition allows you, you can catch incredible views from the top). After the visit to the Cathedral you will have approximately 30 minutes to do some shopping and photo taking, before heading back to Cadiz. Along the way back to the cruise terminal, your excursion guide will conduct a 20 minute panoramic tour for the highlights of Cadiz City just before you are drop off at the cruise ship pier gate.
