A lovely place in Calahonda, just off the main road (facing Da Vinci Italian Restaurant).

If you fancy something a bit different for breakfast or a snack, they make lots of breakfast bowls, rustic toasts, and smoothies, as well as some of the usual options you’d expect.

Always great service here too.

We visited this stunning palace not long after he bought our property in Spain, and what a wonderful place to visit.

As you’ll know we LOVE this part of Spain, and 21 years ago, when we first visited it, it stole a piece of our heart. 🇪🇸

We are so smitten, that we assume everyone will love it as much as we do, so it’s always lovely to hear when someone has visited for the first time, and had a fab time.

We get lots of repeat visitors, so that speaks volumes of the experience they have.

It’s been a while since I posted, so apologies.

We’ve had an amazing summer visiting family and friends in Australia, and in doing so we’ve been able to let our property out over the English summer holidays, so more people have been able to benefit from enjoying the Spanish Costa del Sol. We absolutely loved Australia, but our heart is in Spain.. always ❤️ 🇪🇸.

So, since we last posted we have a new venue right on our doorstep, as Eleven Lounge has opened on Calle Libra, right next to Riviera Sports Club. You can even see this place from our balcony.

They have lots of events on, and special offers, so it you love your music, and a night out, it’s one to try.

Who has ever looked at Max’s beach from the road and thought it was just a gym? The back hides this wonderful oasis.
Our current guests are doing just that, and are including some time at Max’s beach.
Sunbathe, relax or swim, right on the beach with a Mediterranean view, and enjoy a cocktail or two.
Max’s beach is walking distance from the apartment. As well as the pool area, they do serve food, and you can pop in for a drink. Weekends, get busy, and peak season, so ensure you book so you’re not disappointed.

This is a lovely restaurant, and one we head to time after time. It has something for everyone, including a fussy child and a vegetarian with a limited food they will eat.
It’s also walking distance from our apartment. Head to the sea, and take a right at Max’s beach.

If you fancy a light dinner, why not try our pretty goat cheese salad? (Maybe followed by a tiramisu ☺️) Come and see DaVinci soon! ♥️

A lovely afternoon in Malaga visiting Alcazaba, see the views across Malaga and the port, and stopping off at the lovely little cafe at the top, in the shade, and with a beautiful Spanish view.

On our visit to Spain last month we spent the day in Malaga, and we visited the historic Alcazaba ruins right in the heart of the old town.

It was a bargain €3.10 to get in, and there was Roman, Arab, and Renaissance architecture aplenty.

The Roman amphitheater is right next to it too. You can also choose to go further with your history findings and visit Castillo de Gibralfaro which is the castle on the hill.

This fortress palace, whose name in Arabic means citadel, is one of the city's historical monuments and is much visited because of its history...
