Casa Girasol and Calpe are looking great, all ready for the summer season. Weather is perfect too! Beaches are still empty before the summer rush! Our neighbouring town Altea is well worth a visit on the new tram that has just opened in May. Still availability in June for a last minute deal, one week only in August and two left in September. Spring is here! Calpe Fallas Fiesta 13-19 March, Las Fallas is celebrated yearly. Huge statues (fallas) made of cardboard, wood and other materials are placed in the streets and burnt at midnight on the 19th of March, to celebrate the beginning of spring. Impromptu streets parties, free paella, children's games and events all feature during the festivities. Quote FB for discounted rates.

The next big fiesta in Calpe is in March. The Fallas Fiesta is 16-19 March. Huge statues (fallas) made of cardboard, wood and other materials are placed in the streets and then burnt at midnight on the 19th. A sight to see.
