Days one and two of my first ever bike packing adventure are in the (very small and waterproof) bag and I couldn’t have asked for a more spectacular place to learn the art (and necessity) of packing lightly.

Lanzarote, riding through your incredible volcanic parks and stunning fields of dusty lava has been as breathtaking as I imagined. Next up: Fuerteventura! Venga Venga!

One of the highlights of working as a cycle guide is spending the summer traveling to beautiful places and meeting new friends on bikes around the world.. but I always look forward to being back on my favorite island riding for café con leches with good friends. Only question is will it be ☕️ con hielo (iced) or hot? 😂

🚴‍♀️NEVER STOP EXPLORING 🚴‍♀️
Hard to think that two years ago I was still afraid to try riding off road. So glad I had friends that encouraged me to give it a go as now I love getting to explore gravel gems like this along with the glorious paved roads of Mallorca. I can’t wait to be back supporting and encouraging riders looking to explore and challenge themselves here!

The only thing better than the look on one of my rider’s faces this past weekend when they finally saw the incredible Sa Calobra climb for the first time was the look on the other rider’s face when she realized that she’d just beaten her previous time up Sa Calobra by over 20 minutes after having not even been sure she’d be up for riding it that morning. is all about helping you achieve the things you weren’t sure were possible.. in the most beautiful of places while having fun! 🎉Has there been a more exciting time to be a woman who cycles??
🚴 Everyday I’m seeing more women out riding, having fun, supporting one another and getting stronger together!
🚴I love hearing about women around the world encouraging others to get out riding for the first time, try racing or simply find another woman to cycle with.
🚴 And of course the incredible virtual communities of women cyclists where riders can ask each other questions about everything from bike purchases, to training to what they think of how a jersey looks!

I was lucky to have been raised by a strong woman who taught me to view everyday as women’s day! I know that when I’ve got other strong women to rely on for support and encouragement there’s nothing we can’t accomplish together. Challenge yourself and others, dream big, chase those dreams and enjoy the ride. Venga Venga... Let’s go!!

This time of year in Mallorca we don’t need calendars to keep track of the passage of time.. we can just track the colors of the blossoming almond trees. They’re pretty spectacular right now! How are you tracking the days until you’re back here riding these beautiful lanes again??
